Lillian (Bowen) Locke

Lillian (Bowen) Locke, age 89, of Louisville, KY (Formerly of Hart County) passed away at 3:12 PM EST Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at The Richwood in La Grange, KY. The Hart County native was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. She was the daughter of the late John Bowen and the late Effie (Taylor) Bowen. Her husband was the late Ralph Houston Locke. She is survived by her Two Brothers: Earl Bowen of La Grange, KY; & Cletus Bowen (Christine) of Smithfield, KY; Niece: Janet Omer of Louisville, KY; Three Nephews: Rodney & Steven Bowen both of Ekron, KY; & Barry Bowen of Bethlehem, KY. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Edna Rexroat, two brothers: Glenn & Orville Bowen; & a nephew: Mark Bowen. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST Friday, February 22, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to time of service Saturday, February 23, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CST Saturday, February 23, 2008 with Bro. Tim Shirley officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
