Leta Irene Jones

Leta Irene Jones, age 71, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010, at her residence in Munfordville, KY. She was formerly employed by Jerry's Restaurant and was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Burba and the late Stella Brooks Burba and the wife of the late John E. Jones. She is survived by one daughter: Kathy Wilson (Larry), Cave City, KY; one sister: Rita Burgin, Cave City, KY; seven brothers: Ralph Burba, Jr. , Mammoth Cave, KY, Sylvester Burba (Loretta), Cub Run, KY, J.C. Burba, Cub Run, KY, Kenneth Burba (Rose), Louisville, KY, Harold Burba (Carolyn), Shepherdsville, KY, Larry Burba (Linda), Mammoth Cave, KY, Gary Burba (Julie), Cub Run, KY; two grandchildren: Sherry Wilson Piper, Chad Wilson; two great grandchildren: Brittany Wilson, Sarah Piper. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Ruby Rich, Dorothy White, Virginia Gregory, Betty Norbury. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, November 29, 2010. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lowe officiating. Interment will be at Union Light Cemetery, Mammoth Cave, KY.
