Lawrence Edward Hodges

Lawrence Edward Hodges, age 74, of Horse Cave, KY died at 7:00 PM CT Monday, June 16, 2008, in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on October 1, 1933. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Ray Hodges and the late Clarine (Jordan) Barbour. He is survived by his Four Daughters: Anna Mae Rowlett (Johnny) of Munfordville, KY; Sue Katherine Hodges of Cave City, KY; Martha Rae Bradley (Kerry) & Sarah Ann Hodges all of Munfordville, KY; Two Sons: James Edward Hodges & Larry Joe Hodges both of Munfordville, KY; Half-Sister: Clara Mae Miller of Greensburg, KY; Two Half-Brothers: William Kirk Barbour of Cave City, KY & Jerry Barbour of Lafayette, TN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a special friend: Joy Lopez of Horse Cave, KY. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT Thursday, June 19, 2008 and at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to time of service Friday, June 20, 2008. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM CT Friday, June 20, 2008 with Rev. Stanford Dixon & Rev. Douglas Barbour officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
