LaVerne (Judd) Brooks

LaVerne Brooks, age 87, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Signature Health Care of Hart County in Horse Cave, KY. She was a seamstress and a member of Mt. Beulah Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Flym Judd and the late Mattie Pearl Judd. She was also preceded in death by a sister Lanora Johnson and a step grandson Justin Wilkerson.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Brooks; two daughters, Jerrynita Tennyson (Garry), Joyneta Wilkerson (Freddie Joe), both of Glasgow, KY; one granddaughter, Paige Hall (Joseph) Cave City, KY; two great grandchildren, Liam & Elowyn Hall, Cave City, KY; two step great grandsons, Aiden Adwell, Landon Wilkerson both of Glasgow, KY; one brother,Gene Judd, Greensburg, KY; and her Signature Health Care Family. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
