Lauretta Waller Edwards

Lauretta Waller Edwards, age 69, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Woodland Terrace Health Care Facility in Elizabethtown, KY. The Hart County native was born on January 9, 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Chester Lee Waller and the late Edith Eunice Stewart. She is survived by her husband: Edward Edwards; Two Daughters: Dinah Kay Hudson & Eunice Diane Mitchell, both of Elizabethtown, KY; One Son: Gregory Anthony Edwards, Bonnieville, KY; Two Sisters: Geraldine Valentine, Vine Grove, KY & Joanetta Waller, Bedford, IN; One Brother: Huston Lee Stewart, Bonnieville, KY. She is also survived by Ten Grand Children and Three Great-Grand Children and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Two Brothers: Bobby Joe Stewart & J. C. Brown. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Monday, September 14, 2009 and at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to time of service Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM CT, Tuesday, September 15, 2009, with Rev. Ray Stewart and Rev. John C. Glover officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
