Kathleen Allen

Kathleen Allen, age 91, of Glasgow, KY formerly of Linwood, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Edward Shipp and the late Esther Puckett Shipp and wife of the late Willard Maurice Allen. She is survived by two daughters: Sharon Carroll (James), Linwood, KY, Beverly Smith (Bob), Clarksville, TN; one sister: Ruth Milby (Kenneth), Magnolia, KY; two grandchildren: Brittany Whitmer (Charles) Buffalo, KY, Jonathan Jones, Clarksville, TN; one great granddaughter: Katie Whitmer. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 14, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, November 15, 2010. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 15, 2010 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Trent and Bro. Bobby Neal officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, KY.
