Julia Ann Franklin

Julia Ann Franklin, age 78, of Munfordville, KY, died Friday, August 28, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was formerly employed by Hart Restaurant as a cook and a member of First Baptist Church of Horse Cave. She was the daughter of the late Joe Green and the late Catherine MillsGreen. She is survived by her husband: Charlie Franklin; two nephews: William Garvin of Horse Cave, KY, Kevin Garvin of Bowling Green, KY; three nieces: Carolyn Faulkner of Munfordville, KY, Alise Arbie of Horse Cave, KY, Kendra Garvin of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty M. Green, Victoria G. Garvin; three brothers, William O. Green, Robert L. Green and Onyx Green. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2009 and at First Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Funeral service will be at First Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2009, Rev. Jamie Maxey and officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
