Julia Blanche Crain

Julia Blanche Crain, age 97, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Munfordville Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Hazell and Dalapha Mae Jewell Hazell and wife of the late Daniel Paul Crain. She is also survived by two daughters: Rita Karem, Jeffersonville, IN, Julia Strange (Harold), Glasgow, KY; two sons: Frank Crain (Eula), Orange Beach, AL, Roger Crain (Dinah), Horse Cave, KY; one daughter-in-law: Margaret Crain, Hardyville, KY; one sister: Annie Williams, Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Oscar Crain. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 27, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 27, 2010, Bro. Earlene Branstetter and Bro. Michael Fancher officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
