Juanita M. Sublett

Juanita Sublett, age 83, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was formerly employed by the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Brooks Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Dave Massie and Murriel Dice Massie. She is survived by her husband: Damon Lewis Sublett; one son: David W. Sarver (Pamela), Brooks , KY; one brother: Willie Massie, Horse Cave, KY; two granddaughters: Shanita John (Ishmael), Elizabethtown, KY, Kim Walker, Nashville, TN; two grandsons: Davion Sarver (Chris Ann), San Diego, CA, Jerome Hoosier, Nashville, TN; several other grandchildren by marriage, several great grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Thomas Sublett (Lucy) of Indianapolis, IN and two sister-in-laws: Mabel Forrest and Dorothy Twyman both of Indianapolis, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2011, Rev. Stanford Dixon and Rev. Eddie Maynard officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cave City, KY.
