Johnnie Gilbert Ragland Sr.

Johnnie Gilbert Ragland, Sr., age 58, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Medical Center at Caverna in Horse Cave, KY. He was a carpenter. He was the son of Gilbert Ragland of Munfordville and the late Bettie Lee Hornback Ragland.

He is also survived by his wife, Shelia Matthews Ragland; three daughters: Melissa Thomas and Jamie, Canmer, KY, April Ward and Adam, Linwood, KY, Jessica Smith and Mike, Horse Cave, KY; one son, Johnnie Ragland, Jr. and Melissa, Edmonton, KY; four sisters: Susan Horton and husband Donnie, Cub Run, KY, Donna DeSpain and husband Marion, Hodgenville, KY, Hilda Miller, Cub Run, KY, Mary K. Smith, Munfordville, KY; thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Frankie Ragland and a sister Janie Decker.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Priddy officiating. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
