John Thomas Wilson (Jay Hall)

John Thomas Wilson (Jay Hall), age 76, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a farmer, belonged to the Brotherhood of Bearwallow Baptist Church and was a member of the Bearwallow Baptist Church. He was the son of the late John Wilson and the late Lillie Hall Forrest. He is survived by a loving companion: Ora Travis; two daughters: Peggy Jean Goggans (Edward), Indianapolis, IN, Brenda Ann Suggs (Travis), Nashville, TN; two sisters: Terryl Coats (Myron), Kathy Wilson; three step daughters: Brenda Carver, Crystal Mills, Darlene Carver; one aunt: Julia Mae Sykes; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one nephew, one great nephew, one first cousin and many other relatives and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2010. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Woodard, Rev. W.L. Parker and Dr. P. W. Bailey officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
