Joel Lee Percell

Joel Lee Percell, age 55, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.  He is a retired Bindrey Operator at RR Donnlley and Sons.  He was also a member of Horse Cave First Baptist Church where he served on the usher board, choir member and trustee.

He was the son of the late Catherine P. Davis.

He is survived by five sisters, Jackie J. Davis, Glasgow , KY,  Ruth Carol Marks and husband Andrew, Nashville, TN,  Beverly Perry and husband Clay, Munfordville, KY,  Meshellia Leonard and husband John, Garner, NC, Leslie Schuschke and husband Dale, Prospect , KY;  two brothers, Danny Davis and wife Deborah, Glasgow, KY, Neal Percell, Horse Cave, KY.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, October 7, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville KY and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Horse Cave First Baptist Church.  Funeral service will be at Horse Cave First Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2013, Pastor Hugh Heater and Rev Jamie Maxey officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
