Jimmie Lee Jewell

Jimmy Lee Jewell, age 63, of Magnolia, KY, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his residence in Magnolia, KY. He had been employed Hedgepeth Supply for over 26 years, a farmer and a member and trustee of Church In Canmer. He was the son of the late Buford Jewell and the late Fannie Golden Bastin. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Ward Jewell; one daughter, Melissa Sue Jewell, Glasgow, KY; two sons, Kevin Allen Jewell and wife Sherry, Glasgow, KY, Kile Lee Jewell, Canmer, KY; four brothers, Bobby Joe Jewell, William Gary Jewell, Henry Buford Jewell, Ronnie Wayne Jewell all of Canmer, KY; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Frances Priddy. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at The Church in Canmer. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at The Church In Canmer, Bro. Lindell Sexton and Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Interment will be at Oscar Huffman Family Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
