Jewel L (Sidwell) Edwards

Jewel L. Edwards, 76, Horse Cave,  passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, January 1 2015 at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave.

The former Wayne County native was a housewife and farmer and a member of Cooper Baptist Church, Monticello KY.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard C. Edwards, her sister Francis J. Edwards, brother-in-laws Robert F. Edwards and Cecil Edwards and sister-in-laws Helen Eva Daniel and Grace Melton.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela D. Stiles and her husband Mike of Woodburn and Patricia D. Puckett and her husband David of Horse Cave;  three grandchildren Megan Cox  and boyfriend Adam of Bowling Green and Nathan and Whitley Puckett of Horse Cave;  a niece Faye Perkins and husband James of Whickerville and a nephew Leonard Edwards of Munfordville;  a special cousin Alma Trulock or Horse Cave and a special friend Pauletta Bush of Horse Cave;  several other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 3, 2015 and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015, Bro. Chuck Templeman officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville City Cemetery, Munfordville, KY
