Jerry Howard Poteet

Jerry Howard Poteet, age 67 of Northtown passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY. He was a member of Northtown United Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on his vehicles and creating things with his hands, there was not much he couldn't do. 

He is the son of the late Howard Poteet and the late Ruby Norman Poteet.

He is survived by his two children, Stacy Poteet Richardson and her husband Gary, Northtown, KY and Jeremy Poteet, Mammoth Cave, KY; a bonus daughter, Ashley Vance (Boss), Horse Cave, KY; 11 grandchildren, Travis, Addison, Abigail, Alivia, Tyler, Zeb, Bentley, Aliyah, Alexann, Skyla and Kenlie; one sister, Tina Van Metre and her husband Mike, Cave City, KY.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held following visitation at the Poteet Family Cemetery at Northtown with Bro. Jeremiah Meredith officiating.
