Jason Gedda

Jason Gedda, age 48, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was the owner of Wingate by Wyndham in Bowling Green, KY and the Horse Cave KOA Campground. He coached football at both Hart County and Caverna for over 15 years. He touched the lives of many players and their families throughout the years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Jean Gedda.

He is survived by his wife, Sonya Gedda of Horse Cave; two daughters, Whitney and Jacy Gedda, both of Horse Cave; two sons, Neelix and Jaren Gedda both of Horse Cave; his father, Ronald Gedda; two brothers, Matt Gedda (Tricia) and Stephan Gedda; his sister-in-law, Rebecca Sturgeon (Brandon Carroll), and brother-in-law, Tracy Sturgeon (Miranda Sturgeon), who were very special to him; his best friend, Joey Dewhirst; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Honoring Jason's wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Brooks Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

A memorial fund has been established at the Cecilian Bank in Munfordville, donations may be left there or in the office of Brooks Funeral Home.
