James Roye Smith

James Roye Smith, age 72, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin. He retired from Marley Cooling Tower Co. in Louisville and a member of the Glen Lily Church of God of Prophecy. He was the son of the late Eldbridge Smith and the late Elaine Butler Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Smith ; two daughters, Tina Butler (Paul), Bonnieville, KY, Jennifer Timberlake (Forest), Magnolia, KY; three grandchildren, Amber Richardson (Dillon), Joshua Timberlake, Alyson Butler; four sisters, Wanda Collins, Sharon Stevenson (Quinn) both of Munfordville, KY, Reba Crain and Melinda Brown (Mitchell) both of Cave City, KY; two brothers Randal Smith (Judy), Kissinger, KY, Danny Smith (Judy), Munfordville, KY; five loving sisters-in-law and spouses.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Monday, March 29, 2021 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home. Interment will be at Weldon Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
