James Richard Hayden

James Richard Hayden, age 56, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away at 4:42 PM ET Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. The Jefferson County native was born on May 9, 1952 and was a retired Navy Chief with the U S Navy for 20 years. Mr. Hayden was also a member of Dorsey Chapel United Methodist Church in Priceville, KY. He was the son of the late James William Hayden and the late Dixie (Watson) Hayden. He is survived by his wife: Margaret "Janie" Hayden; One Daughter: Elizabeth A. Harper (Paul), Kansas City, MO; Two Grandchildren: Emma & Alex Harper, Kansas City, MO; Three Sisters: June Sullivan, Judy Ferguson, & Joan, all of Louisville, KY; & his Brother. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Monday, January 12, 2009 from Noon to 8:00 PM CT, Tuesday, January 13, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to time of service Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 10:00 AM CT, Wednesday, January 14, 2009, with Bro. Ed Montgomery officiating. Interment will be at Smith Cemetery, Priceville, KY.
