James Spurgeon Fields

James Spurgeon Fields, age 82, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. He was retired from Kentucky Utilities and a member of Munfordville Baptist Church. He was the son of the late James Spurgeon Fields and the late Ruth Ellen Pottinger Fields. He is survived by his wife: Clarice A. Hopper Fields; one daughter: Judy Knight (Burnie), Elizabethtown, KY; one son: Tony Fields (Cindy), Bonnieville, KY; one brother: William A. Fields, Danville, KY; two grandchildren: Whitney Greer (Chuck Burress), Austin Fields; four great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 18, 2010, Bro. John Smith officiating. Interment will be at Memory Park Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
