Jake J. Kurtz

Jake J. Kurtz, age 94, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was a painter. He was the son of the late John Kurtz and the late Mary Detweiler Kurtz. He is also preceded in death by a son, a daughter Ellen Kurtz, 4 sisters, 6 brothers and a granddaughter, Clara Kurtz.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Byler Kurtz; two daughters, Malinda Fisher and husband Robert, Munfordville, KY, Susan Kurtz, LeGrange, IN; one son, Jacob Kurtz and wife Kathryn, Munfordville, KY; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 9:30 am Monday, November 28,2022, at the residence of Jacob and Kathryn Kurtz, 2117 Logsdon Valley Rd. Final resting place will be in the Logsdon Valley Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the residence of Jacob and Kathryn Kurtz.
