Jad A. Walters

Jad Austin Walters, age 85, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away at 6:00 AM CT Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his residence in Elizabethtown, KY. The Indiana native was born on August 14, 1922. He was a retired machine operator for Schindley's Distillery. He was the son of the late Jad Walters and the late Nettie (Jones) Walters. He was married to the late Mildred Bryant Walters. He is survived by his Three Daughters: Linda Duckworth of Rineyville, KY; Nettie Jenkins & Lisa Burnett both of Elizabethtown, KY; Four Sons: William "Penny" Walters of Elizabethtown, KY; Howard Walters of Urichsville, OH; Roger Walters of Bonnieville, KY; & John Walters of Frankfort, KY; Three Sisters: Mildred Close & Beaulah May Taylor both of Louisvillle, KY; & Bonnie Key of Mt. Washington, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where a private visitation was held. A private graveside service was conducted at Bonnieville Memory Park in Bonnieville, KY.
