Jackie Franklin Jones

Jackie Franklin Jones, age 55, of Cave City, KY, died Monday, September 14, 2009, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a self employed carpenter. He was the son of the late James Jones and Marie Vaught Jones of Crestview, FL. He is also survived by his wife: Brenda McKinney Jones; three daughters: Sabrina Clark, New Haven, KY, Laticia Mahoney, New Haven, KY, Tina Mahoney, New Haven, KY; one son: Kevin Gerleman of Iowa; mother: Marie Vaught Jones of Crestview, FL; two sisters: Rebecca Godwin, Crestview, FL, Loretta Centerfit, Crestview, FL; four brothers: Pascal Jones, New Haven, KY, Dalton Jones, Crestview, FL, Jessie Jones, Crestview, FL, Lonnie Jones, Horse Cave, KY; three half sisters: Mary Lou Clark of New Haven, KY, Kiwana Jones of Ohio, Connie Asher of Sidney, OH; 18 grandchildren. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Faye Ridgeway; 2 sisters Sylvia Wilkerson and Molly Richardson; one brother, Steve Jones. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2009, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2009. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2009, Bro. Dwayne Cook officiating. Interment will be at Cosby Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
