Hezie Roy Richardson

Hezie Roy Richardson, age 100, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home. He was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran, a farmer and a long time deacon and member of Bearwallow Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Link Richardson and the late Betty Rogers Wade. He was also the husband of the late Alene Richardson. He was preceded in death by three sisters Arletta Ashby, Annie Bradley, Emma Calloway; four brothers Joseph Twyman, Johnnie Wade, Cecil Wade and Parker Wade.

He is survived by four daughters, Doris Peden, Hardyville, KY, Betty Bush and husband Oliver, Hardyville, KY, Mary Clark and husband Loein, Indianapolis, IN, Wanda Haskins (Harold), Horse Cave, KY; one son, Roy Richardson, Hardyville, KY; five grandchildren, one step grandchild, six great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Bearwallow Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM CT, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Bearwallow Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Bryant and Rev. Keith Rowlett officiating.

Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
