Henry G. Hodges

Mr. Henry G. Hodges, 67 of Mayfield Kentucky, formerly of Hart County, passed away Sunday. He was the son of the late Forrest and Geraldine Hodges. He was retired executive director of the Purchase Area Development District from 1973 - 2008; member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and University of Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Lou Bailey Hodges; on son, John C. (Shelly) Hodges of Paducah; one daughter, Laura Hodges (Jim) Theilmann of Louisville; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 30 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, Kentukcy. Funeral service will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 30 at Byrn Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 1 at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hart County, Kentucky. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
