Hazel Irene Newton, age 90, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, KY.
She was the daughter of the late Pat Crain and the late Mary Ann Nunn Crain and wife of the late Welby Newton.
She is survived by one daughter: Virginia West, Cub Run, KY; one son: Lawrence P. Hawkins, Louisville, KY; four grandcildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great great grandchilren.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2011. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 24, 2011 at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
