Hattie Chaney

Hattie Chaney, age 93, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 4:15 PM CT Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Larue County native was born on November 29, 1914. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church in Magnolia, KY. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Hines and the late Ada (Miller) Hines. She was married to the late Omer Shively Chaney. She is survived by her Two Daughters: Lena Margaret Chaney and Lola Bunnell (Jerry) all of Munfordville, KY; Two Sons: Omer Madison Chaney (Pam) of Lexington, KY; & Gerald Wayne Chaney of Munfordville, KY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, & several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT Tuesday, May 13, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to time of service Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CT Wednesday, May 14, 2008 with Rev. Curtis Slinker and Rev. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Magnolia, KY.
