Harold Gene Claywell Sr.

Harold Gene Claywell, Sr., age 64, of Magnolia, KY, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016, at Glenview Nursing Home in Glasgow, KY. He was a former employee of Louisville Bedding, retired self employed plumber. He was the son of the late Ervin Claywell and the late Nell Irene Burns Claywell.

He is survived by two sons, Gene Claywell and wife Kelliegh, Huber Heights, OH, Brian Claywell, Kettering, OH; three daughters, Raygena Green, Vandalia, OH, Nicole Kersey and husband Leo, Hardyville, KY, Angela Claywell, Winchester, TN; his children's mother, Roberta Claywell, Kettering, OH; one brother, Ricky Claywell, Radcliff, KY; two sisters, Dona Avarida and husband Andrew, Fort Meyers, FL, Brenda Nunn and husband Timothy, Magnolia, KY; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three aunts, Mary Christine Lucas, Reba Mollette, Bonnie Sparks.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter & Flora Burns. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Sunday, December 18, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM CT, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 12:00 noon, Monday, December 19, 2016 with Rev. Nicky Ferguson officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
