George Paul Meadows

George Paul Meadows, age 83, the son of the late Leon and Ethelyn Meadows, passed away in Glasgow, KY on  April 6, 2025. He was a member of the Monroe Cumberland Church, were he was an ordained Elder. He was a lifelong farmer and also worked at Dart Container in Horse Cave for 11 years. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Glasgow, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Annetta Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth England Meadows; one daughter, Cindy Michelle Meadows, Glasgow, KY; one son, Jeffery Scott Meadows (Michelle),Burkesville, KY: a grand-daughter, Ashleigh Elizabeth Meadows, Glasgow, KY: one special great -grandson (whom Poppy loved dearly), Braxton Scott Meadows. Several neices and nephews and local friends also survive.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. CT, at the Horse Cave Cemetery in Horse Cave, KY. with Bro. Earlene Branstter officiating. In leiu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Services provided by the Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY.
