Francis "Frank" Cook

Francis "Frank" Walden Cook, age 77, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Elizabethtown, KY. He was a Morehead State University graduate and received his Masters from Western Kentucky University. During his 30 years in the education field, he retired as Director of Pupil Personnel for Hart County Schools. He was a member of Cub Run Masonic Lodge #910, Hart County Retired Teachers Association and a member of Munfordville First United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Meredith Cook and the late Marie Wallen Cook Hinman. He is survived by his wife: Christine "Chris" York Cook; one daughter: Terry Cook Wilson (Bill), Elizabethtown, KY; two grandchildren: Brittany Wilson Nickell (Matt), Taylor Wilson; two great grandchildren: Reese and Ramsey Nickell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Cook. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 12, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, Bro. Rick Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY. A Masonic service will be held 7:00 pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at Brooks Funeral Home.
