Frances D. (Minton) Skaggs
April 17, 1940 — May 12, 2016
Frances D. Minton Skaggs, age 76, of Munfordville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was retired from Louisville Bedding, a Hart County Deputy Jailer, first full time Class D Supervisor for Hart County Detention Center, member of Kentucky Gold Color Guard, past member of Silver Spur Saddle Club, and a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Charles A. Minton and the late Opal Terry Minton.
She is survived by her husband, David T. Skaggs; two sons, Lynn T Skaggs and wife Martha, Glasgow, KY, Jason T. Skaggs, Munfordville, KY; one sister, Charline Vaughn, Munfordville, KY; one grandchild, Sarah Elizabeth Skaggs, Glasgow, KY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Paul H. Minton.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Saturday, May 14, 2016 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Benningfield officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
