Frances Louise Hawkins Glass

Frances Louise Hawkins Glass, age 88 of Mt. Washington was born June 27, 1936 and went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 with her loving family at her side. She was raised around the Cub Run, KY area with her family that she loved dearly. Frances loved life, she loved people, her precious husband, Willard, of over 50 years, her parents, her brothers and sisters. Her heart was always sweet and kind, but she loved some other things in life as well, her farm, basket making, sketching and painting, flower arranging, shopping, taking rides on a pretty day, and good food, nachos, OH MY!

Frances was the daughter of the late Clarence Hawkins and Esther Buster Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by husband, Willard Glass; six sisters, Elizabeth Bishop, Charlene Taylor, Aloma McDowell, Lucy Meredith, Rowvena Grass, and Mary Kay Gore; two brothers, Jessie William Hawkins and Damon Hawkins.

She is survived by two sisters, Cozetta Buster and Kathy McFarland (Barry); one brother, Samuel Hawkins (Veronica); Junior and June, Eddie and Bea, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM -8:00 PM CT (12:00 PM-9:00 PM ET) on Friday, August 9, 2024 and again on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM CT(12:00-2:00 PM ET) at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM CT (2:00 PM ET) on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Cherry Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
