Frances Goad Cartmill

Frances Goad Cartmill, age 87, of Stanford, KY (Formerly of Horse Cave), passed away at 6:10 PM CT Friday, October 3, 2008, at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green, KY. The Barren County native was born on January 19, 1921. She was a former certified health care worker, a loving sister, wife, mother, & "Mema" to her precious grandchildren. She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Edwin Bert and the late Elta May (Harlow) Goad. She was married to the late Sam Cartmill. She is survived by One Daughter: Carolyn Myatt (Bob), Bowling Green, KY; Four Sons: Paul David Cartmill (Vivian), Woodburn, KY; Michael Alan Cartmill (Jean), Stanford, KY; William Lee "Bill" Cartmill (Sandra), Magnolia, KY; & Charles Edward Cartmill (Sharon), Summer Shade, KY; Two Sisters: June Ross (J.V.), & Lola Doyle (Carl), all of Mt. Washington, KY. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grand Children, 9 Step-Great-Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT Sunday, October 5, 2008 and from 8:00 AM to time of service Monday, October 6, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 10:00 AM CT, Monday, October 6, 2008 with Rev. Gordon Chaney officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
