Eugenia Gore

Eugenia Gore, age 79, of Munfordville, KY passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at Glenview Nursing Home in Glasgow, KY. The Knob Lick native was born on October 11, 1926. She was the former owner and operator of Gore's Carpet in Munfordville and was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She was married to the late Donald Gore. She was the daughter of the late R. C. Greer and the late Daisy (Freeman) Greer. She is survived by: One Daughter: Donna Burd and her husband Gill of Oldsmar, FL; One Son: Tim Gore and his wife Becca of Horse Cave, KY; Two grandchildren: Rich Burd and his wife Chris of Indianapolis, IN and Mackenzie Gore of Horse Cave, KY; Four great-grandchildren: Catherine, Nicholas, Jonathon, & Cydney Burd. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Gore and a brother: Paul Greer. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CDT Friday, September 15, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CDT Saturday, September 16, 2006. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CDT Saturday, September 16, 2006 , with Bro. Jason Peden officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hardyville, KY.
