Emma Louise Gillock

Emma Louise Gillock, age 77, of Louisville, KY (Formerly of Munfordville) passed away at 7:25 PM EDT Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY. The Hart County native was born on September 12, 1929. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was married to the late Harry C. Gillock. She was the daughter of the late Jess Logsdon, the late Ollie (Hunt) Hawkins and her step-father the late Charlie Hawkins. She is survived by her Four Daughters: Patricia Burba (Gary); Marsha Burnett; Jane Brown; & Shirley Applegate all of Louisville, KY; One Son: Bill Brown of Louisville, KY; Two Sisters: Betty Jean Spencer of Munfordville, KY; & Marie Campbell (Bobby) of Louisville, KY; Two Brothers: Charles Hawkins (Bonnie)and Doug Hawkins (Sandy) all of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Shelly Ballou (Lance), Marcey Burba, Olivia Johnson (Gary), Amy Burba (Steve), Timmy Gillock, Harrison Rodgers, & Patrick Burnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Gary R. Gillock and husband: Harry C. Gillock. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM CDT Saturday, March 17, 2007. The family chose cremation. Memorial service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CDT Saturday, March 17, 2007 .
