Elva Meredith

Elva Meredith, age 91, of Munfordville, KY, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Charles Rector Wood and Florence Amelia Stinson Wood. She was also the wife of the late Renzo Meredith. She is survived by Two Daughters: Bernice Harlow, Munfordville, KY Hazel Jessie (Delmas), Hardyville, KY Two Sons: Marvin Meredith (Rose), Munfordville, KY David Meredith (Stephanie), Munfordville, KY One Sister: Lona Morgan (Willie), Hardyville, KY One Brother: James Wood (Mary), Munfordville, KY Ten Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Bratcher, Emma Childress, Versa Trulock; and four brothers, Ester Wood, Howard Wood, Herman Wood, Arthur Wood. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2009 and 9:00 Am to 2:00 PM Saturday. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2009. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY
