Elsie Louise Shirley

Elsie Louise Shirley, age 66, of Huntsville, AL (Formerly of Hart County) passed away at 10:30 AM CST on Monday, November 13, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. The Hart county native was born on August 19, 1940 and was a retired cook for John E's Restaurant. She was a member of Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Roy Carl Shirley and the late Willie Jo (Sears) Shirley. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Lee Percell; Three Sons: Patrick Shirley (Alethea) of Huntsville, AL; Frederick Cortez Shirley (Sherry) of Louisville, KY; Eric Lamont Shirley (Carol) of Louisville, KY; Two Brothers: Clarence Wesley Shirley of LaGrange, KY; Ricky Ray Shirley of Munfordville, KY; Five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. She is also survived by an aunt: Martha Sears of Cave City, KY; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Derrick Dewayne Shirley; a granddaughter: Ineesha Dice; two brothers: Bobby Joe Shirley and Gordon Shelby Oneal Shirley; two sisters: Essie May Shirley and Patricia Ann Shirley. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. The family will receive friends at Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Saturday, November 18, 2006. Funeral service will be at Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, November 18, 2006 with Minister Patrick Shirley and Bishop Aaron Jones officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cave City, KY.
