Elizabeth "Lisa" Brittain

Elizabeth (Lisa) Gayle Hardesty Brittain, 63, of Hart County, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 2nd , 2017 at her home. Born July 30th , 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Robert Hardesty. She attended Presentation Academy and St. Joseph’s School of Radio Technology.
She was married to John Oliver Brittain with whom she owned and operated Nolin River Nut Tree Nursery, established in 1985. She helped produce and distribute nut trees for thousands of acres of orchards across North America. Throughout her life, Lisa connected with others through faith and spirituality. She found joy in seeking spiritual awareness and peace.
She is survived by her husband, John, and her daughters, Olivia LeMoyne Brittain and Violet Aviva Brittain.
Her memorial service will be held at Roundstone Creek in Hart County on Saturday, June 17th at 9 AM Eastern time.
