Elizabeth Thompson Hubbard, 102 of Frankfort, KY, formerly of Munfordville, KY passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, in Frankfort, KY. Mrs. Hubbard was born in Edmonton, Kentucky, July 17, 1908, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Eleanora (Hamilton) Thompson. She attended Logan College and the University of Kentucky. She was a Selective Service Clerk and a Social Worker. She was formerly President of Munfordville Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, founder and charter member of the Hart County Library, adult leader of the Munfordville Methodist Church youth Fellowship and member of Frankfort First United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. B. "Jack" Hubbard and a son-in-law, Gifford S. Lee. She is survived by two daughters: Betty Lee, Frankfort, KY, Nancy Lutz (Richard), Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Jacqueline Layton (Tim), Richard Christian Lutz (Carol), Nancy Windley (Dave); Great Grandchildren: William Sturdevant (Amanda), Eric Lutz (Jessica), Kelli Lutz, Scott Layton, David Windley, John Windley, Libby Windley; great great dranddaughter: Brooke Elizabeth Sturdevant. Friends may call at Brooks Funeral Home from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 01, 2010. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 01, 2010 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Jackson Brewer officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The familly requests donations be made to Munfordville United Methodist Church.
