Elizabeth Mae Cooper

Elizabeth Mae Cooper, age 59, of Hardyville, KY, passsed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at her residence in Hardyville, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Hardyville Union Church. She was the daughter of the late James Cummings "J.C." Jones and the late Mary Lou Judd Jones. She is survived by her husband: Roger Cooper; two grandsons: Cody Houk, Hardyville, KY, Dillon Houk, Hardyville, KY; one sister: Mary Jane Price (Delbert), Magnolia, KY; three brothers: Coy Jones (Jean), West Unity, OH, Marshall Jones (Violet), Henryville, IN, Melvin Jones (Judy), LeGrande, KY; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver Doris Peden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Luke Houk and Ronnie Joseph Houk Jr.; two brothers, Andrew Murel Jones, Ray Mitchell Jones and one sister, Margaret Ann Branstetter. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, May 14, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2010, Bro. Tony Wright, Bro. Barry Devine, and Bro. Mark Wade officiating. Interment will be at Houk Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
