Elaine Sturgeon

Elaine Sturgeon, age 82, of Munfordville, KY, died Thursday, October 8, 2009, at her residence in Munfordville, KY. She was a housewife and member of Cub Run Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Sturgeon and the late Emma Crain Sturgeon. She was the wife of the late Howard O. Sturgeon She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Short (Bro. David), Munfordville, KY; Beverly Logsdon (Randy), Munfordville, KY; two grandsons: Dwain Short, Stephen Logsdon; one granddaughter: Dana Short; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2009. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2009, Bro. Herman Logsdon officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
