Edward Arthur Winkler

Edward Arthur Winkler, Sr., age 87, of Starke, FL, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his daughters home in Hardyville. He was retired US Air Force veteran and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church. He was the son of the late Edward Austin Winkler and the late Elizabeth "Bessie" Ferguson Winkler and husband of the late Mildred R. Richter. He was also preceded in death by a great grandson Emmett Allen Wright; and siblings Warren Winkler, Julia Underhill, Merry Shephard, Martha Ann Smith, Ronald Winkler and an infant brother.

He is survived by one daughter, Cindy and Don Green, Hardyville, KY; one son, Eddie and Christy Winkler, Melrose, FL; one brother, George and Burney Winkler, Starke, FL; one sister-in-law, Sue Carole Winkler, Starke, FL; eight grandchildren, Brittany & Kurtis Wright, Trey & Cheyna Winkler, Austin Green, Macy Winkler, Emily Green, Dalton Green, Hanna Crane, Colton Crane, six great grandchildren, Gracie Leigh Wright, Abigail Wright, Arionna Winkler, Adilynn Wise, Charlie Wright, Ace Winkler.

The service for Mr. Winkler will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Starke, Florida. A celebration of Life Reception will follow the service at Belle Oaks Barn in Brooker, Florida.
