Edward K. Edwards

Edward K. Edwards, age 74, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, at his residence in Bonnieville, KY. He was a painter and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was the son of the late George Robert Edwards and the late Christine Ellis Edwards. He was the husband of the late Lauretta Waller Edwards. He is survived by two daughters: Dinah Kay Hudson (Jackson), Elizabethtown, KY, Eunice Diane Mitchell, Elizabethtown, KY; one son: Gregory Anthony Edwards, Bonnieville, KY; three half brothers: Cecil Edwards, Bonnieville, KY, Calvin B. Edwards, Bonnieville, KY, Gordon McClellan, Radcliff, KY; one brother-in-law: Rev. Huston Stewart, Bonnieville, KY; one sister-in-law: Jerri Valentine, Vine Grove, KY; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2010 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, June 4, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 4, 2010, Rev. Billy Curle and Rev. Ray Stewart officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.
