Edward Dennis

Edward Dennis, age 86, of Munfordville, KY passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. The Roseburg native was born on October 1, 1919. He was a retired self-employed logger. He was of the Baptist Faith. His wife was the late Lorene (Self) Dennis. He was the son of the late Will Henry "Cute" Dennis and the late Frances (Heavrin) Dennis. He is survived by his Three Daughters: Brenda Thompson of Louisville, KY; Janie Humphrey and Regina Wilson both of Munfordville, KY; Two Sons: Vincent Dennis and Kenny Dennis both of Munfordville, KY; Three Sisters: Eunice Hazel, Louvinia Pitchford, and Loree Parrish all of Louisville, KY; One Brother: James Dennis of Jeffersontown, KY Thirteen grandchildren Four great-grandchildren In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Lorene Dennis; three brothers and a sister. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Sunday, June 4, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CDT Monday, June 5, 2006. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CDT Monday, June 5, 2006 with Bro. Don Hay officiating. Interment will be at Wilkerson Temple Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
