Edsel H. Taylor

Edsel H. Taylor, age 81, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011, at his residence. The Hart County native retired from General Electric, was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church, and the Electrical Workers Union. He was the son of the late Joseph Taylor and the late Della (West) Taylor. He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter: Jeannie Green; brothers & sisters: Kenneth, Rondal, & Elmo Taylor, Louise Guess & Elsie Shelton. He is survived by his wife: Doris (Goodman) Taylor, Munfordville, KY; Two Daughters: Carol Butler, Munfordville, KY & Brenda Casey (Bobby), Cub Run, KY; Three Sons: James Taylor (Sandy), Bonnieville, KY; Daniel Taylor, Cub Run, KY, & Roger "Rocky" Taylor (Sherry), Cave City, KY; Two Sisters: Bernice Downey, Greensburg KY & Betty Jo Amos of Clearwater FL. Two Brothers: Rayburn Taylor (Judy), Greensburg, KY & Marshall Bud Taylor (Vernice), Campbellsville, KY He is also survived by Nine Grand Children; Ten Great-Grand Children; Six Step Grandchilren, & Six Step Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. The family will receive friends at Hager Funeral Home, 633 Bland Street, Brandenburg, KY from 1:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET, Sunday, June 12, 2011 and at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY from 10:00 AM CT to 8:00 PM CT, Monday, June 13, 2011 and from 9:00 AM CT to time of service Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CT, Tuesday, June 14, 2011 with Bro. James Humphrey officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY
