Dustin Rose "Dusty" Van Vlack

Dustin Rose "Dusty" Van Vlack, age 15, of Beacon, N.Y., passed away at 8:55 PM CDT Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Cold Springs native was born on June 15, 1992. He was a student at North Road Rehab Program in New York. He was the son of Ted Van Vlack and Barbara (Moore) Van Vlack of Beacon, NY. He is also survived by One Sister: Angela Van Vlack of Marlboro, N.Y.; Two Brothers: Shaun Van Vlack of Lexington, KY; and Ted Van Vlack, III of Beacon, N.Y.; Maternal Grandmother: Dorothy Christian of Munfordville, KY; Maternal Grandfather: Roy Moore of Hardyville, KY; Maternal Great-Grandmother: Mae Banks of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Lillian Rogers Van Vlack and Theodore Van Vlack; maternal step-grandfather: Charlie (Chris) Christian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brooks Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday, July 17, 2007. The family chose cremation as final disposition.
