Dorothy Z. Turner

Dorothy Zelma Turner, age 87, of Upton, KY, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at her residence in Upton, Ky. The Hart County native was born April 25, 1924 and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Paul Turner; and the daughter of the late Hillard Murray and May Durham Murray. She is survived by Two Daughters: Betty Hall (Paul), Upton, Ky; Norma Turner Johnson (Bart), Shepherdsville, Ky: Three Sons: Ricky Turner, Upton, Ky; Ronnie Turner (Melinda), Bonneville , Ky; (Butch) Carroll Turner, Upton, KY: One Brother Gault Murray Louisville, Ky: One Sister Leona Wells Linwood, Ky. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren: and several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Eunice Murray Gootee Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 6, 2011 and from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2011, with Bro. Bob Sharp officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Bonnieville, Ky.
