Dorothy Mae Hardesty, age 87 of Horse Cave, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at her residence under Hospice Care. She is a member of Woodsonville Baptist Church where she served as a Senior Choir Member and Sunday School Teacher. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Cuba Rowlett Dillion, also preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hardesty, two sons Timmy and Curtis Hardesty, one Stepson Charles Hardesty, two brothers Samuel Dillion Jr. and James "Smokey" Franklin.
She is survived by three daughters, Shelia Hardesty, Bowling Green, KY, Crystall Pulliam, Horse Cave, KY, Katina Hardesty, Horse Cave, KY; two step daughters, Carolyn Spencer, Memphis, TN and Donna Hereford, Nashville, TN; two sons, Phillip Hardesty, Horse Cave, KY, Tyrone Hardesty, Sonora, KY; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bryant, Poniac, MIchigan; grandchildren, Dywan Haskins, Troy Hardesty, Brad Green, Brandon Paul, Jeff Spencer, Latoya Haskins, Brandy Stockton, Jessica Paul, Victoria Vashon, Keanan Edwards, Trinity Edwards, Braxton Stirmon, Trey Hardesty, Taylor Hardesty, Joshua Carter Huff; fifteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM-1:00 PM CT, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 with Rev. Horace Graham and Rev. K.T. Ford officiating.
Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
