Donna Shipp, age 65, of Monticello, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The Glasgow native was the daughter of the late Henry Buford England and Dorothy Elizabeth White England. She was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church. She was an inspector for the Excel Company in Covington. When not working, she spent time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Don Shipp; two daughters, Kelly Batchelor, Monticello, GA, Kasey Duvall, Monticello, GA; one son, Kyle Lee Shipp and wife Melissa Shipp, Warner Robins, GA; three brothers, James Terrell England, Hardyville, KY, Jake Raymond England, Tompkinsville, KY, Timothy Smith England, Hardyville, KY; seven grandchildren, Kala Batchelor, Cody Batchelor, Krysten Shipp, Kaitlyn Shipp, Megan Shipp, Kenneth Duvall, III, Isabella Harden; one great grandchild, Blayne Bennett.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2014 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Compton officiating. Interment will be at Pike View Cemetery, Pike View , KY. Memorial contributions can be made to Pike View Cemetery.
