Dolores Hawkins

Dolores Hawkins, age 75, of Canmer, KY passed away at 6:12 PM CT Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. The Jefferson County native was born on November 24, 1932. She was a retired employee with America Advertisement Company and a member of Our Lady of Caves Catholic Church in Horse Cave, KY. She is survived by One Son: John Reeves of Canmer, KY; and Two grandchildren: John W. Reeves, IV and Christopher Robin Reeves both of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Donald Hawkins. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT Thursday, March 20, 2008 and at Our Lady of Caves Catholic Church from 10:00 AM to time of communion service Friday, March 21, 2008. A communion service will be held at Our Lady of Caves Catholic Church at 12:00 Noon Friday, March 21, 2008 with Father Joel Rogers officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer, KY.
