Dixie M. Kessinger

Dixie M. Kessinger, age 73, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. Mrs. Kessinger was retired comsmetologist , a member of Munfordville First United Methodist Church, a member of the Munfordville Order of Eastern Star Chapter 322 and a member of the Munfordville Woman's Club. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Johnson and the late Ollie Johnson She is survived by her husband: J.T. Kessinger, Munfordville KY; one daughter: Cheri Ross and husband Roger, Munfordville, KY; one son: Barry Kessinger and wife Kelli, Munfordville, KY; three grand daughters: Morgan Marrese and her husband Sky , Emaly and Shelby Kessinger all of Munfordville, KY; one great grand daughter Dixie Marrese of Munfordville, KY; one aunt: Becky Skaggs and husband Ronnie of Louisville, KY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 30 and 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday, July 1 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 2, at Munfordville First United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be at Munfordville First United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, Pastor Rick Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Harper Cemetery, Munfordville, KY AN EASTERN STAR SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT BROOKS FUNERAL HOME ON MONDAY JULY 1st AT 7:00PM.
